THE ISLAND PARTY BOAT

 

Celebrating a special event?? Maybe a special birthday, engagement party, hen’s or buck’s night, charity event,  work social, family get together or just a straight up good ol’ party?? Maybe it’s the time of year for your staff party?? Whatever the occasion, here at the island party boat we’re ready to help you celebrate & make the occasion memorable for all…..

 

In the '60s, before the demise of Brisbane ship building firm Evans Deacon, the company launched some impressive ships and a lesser vessel commissioned by City Council that seemed unlikely to make a big impression.  The vehicular ferry, a floating car park, was called 'Sir James Holt' ferry, after the designer of our Story Bridge. It plied the waters of Murrarie until over 20 years ago, when the Gateway Bridge made the old girl redundant. Some enterprising types decided she had the makings of a party boat. Renamed 'The Island party boat', it's since become part of the hospitality scene cruising the Brisbane River.

UNIQUE REQUESTS

Requests out of the ordinary are more than welcome. We will always endeavor to fulfill these where possible. The adaptability of ‘the island’ makes it very feasible, what may seem rather difficult to you may be straightforward to us. Please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.  We love to plan parties!! If you would like to party longer we can even arrange extended cruising times..

ü      A minimum of 50 guests is required.

For those of you that want a simple charter or a venue to party hard and not worry about who is cleaning up afterwards! There is no food included in this package, although if you wish guests may purchase their own food from the Island Kitchen.

We require an $800 non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. 

 

FINAL BALANCE & GUEST NUMBERS
